From the moment I saw this picture I fell in love with it. I went to a store to look for some books for my niece and nephews, as I turned; out of the corner of my eye I saw this picture. It was a moment of awe, the picture spoke to me. A piece of art that radiated empowerment. Having just moved into my new apt I thought this would be an amazing picture of strength and power to hang on my wall. I happened to be shopping with my cousin that day, she saw how much I liked the picture and wanted to buy it for me as a housewarming present. I was overjoyed!

Imagine four great thinkers all sitting and discussing life, the world and more. While in reality three of the thinkers in the image are dead, the power of their struggle and achievement both as individuals and collectively still remains. The words of these eloquent speakers continue to live. The truths that they spoke continue to live. I have learned from each of these teachers of excellence. I have been able to look back in history at their paths of learning. They have taught me to be a better person, and to look at life through a different lens. These four greats like so many others are beacons of light in a crazy world.
